½ hour $40, 1 hour $60, 90 minutes $90

Introducing Aromatherapy and Prenatal Massages

Learn why aromatherapy is so much more than just good smells! During this session, Alise will consult with you to help you select a blend or make a custom blend using therapeutic essential oils that will target your specific areas of physical, emotional, and spiritual need. The blend will then be used during a full body massage to allow the oils to rejuvenate every cell in your body. Essential oils are the potent, medicinal oils of the leaves, flowers, barks, or root of the chosen plant. All of these oils are naturally antibacterial, antiviral, and antiseptic and most have many more healing properties building the bodies defenses and aiding in healing and detoxifying – all while smelling sensual and marvelous!

Prenatal massages are great for mother and baby to increase circulation, reduce stress (both emotional and physical), assist the mother’s changing body to adjust, and reduce pain in muscles and joints among other things. Every pregnant woman deserves a massage!

Bio

Alise Christie graduated with a teaching degree from Millersville University in 2000. During her formal education, Alise also expanded her curiosity and knowledge in metaphysical concepts, specifically energy healing, and earned her Reiki Master/Teacher certification in 2003. She then attended massage and healing school at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA receiving her certification in 2004. Shortly after, Alise moved to Asheville, NC where she completed a year long advanced energy healing and meditation intensive training at The North Carolina School of Natural Healing. In addition to being a healer, Alise worked in the Mental Health field for 10 years which has assisted her in bringing even more compassion to her work. She currently lives with her husband Michael, and her amazing little toddler, Madelyn Rose. Alise hopes to always remain a humble servant of the beautiful healing arts and a loving student of life and looks forward to working with you, and learning from you soon!
